ADVA Optical

ADVA is a German optical vendor with its foundations in WDM for telco and corporate use. It has latterly become known for Ethernet Access Devices (EAD) based around the FSP 150 product family which is used very extensively as well as FSP 2000 and FSP 3000 for transport and DC interconnect.

ADVA has acquired Oscilloquartz (timing products) as well as MRV (network edge products).

The latest iteration of the FSP 3000 is now an open line system (OLS) which is designed to reduce so called vendor lock in and provide the customer with a more flexible solution.
