The ADVA FSP 150 is for Metro Access and it delivers carrier class ethernet for business and wholesale access and is used by ISPs such as British Telecom as an ethernet access device for the customer to connect to and is the demarcation point. It connects to the network using fibre, coper or TDM.
It is available in a range of formats and generally provides access interfaces in the form of 10/100/1000 base T via SFP ports.
Later models supporting 10GE have pluggable cards such as FSP 150 CC.
