The Nokia ACM2 is part of the Dynanet family of products and cards belonging to it can be sent to the TXO repair centre.  The ACM2 is an Access Multiplexer using PDH technology for 2048Kbps or 2 Mbps. This is the basic multiplex rate for PDH formed of 30 channels and in Europe has the designation E1.  It was used for both ISDN and also POTS ( plain old telephone service for telephone connections using copper to subscribers). Hence the main application was access to leased lines, POTS and into the local exchange. Management is via a system called Node Manager. The system is still in use for incumbent operators and transport. Nokia also produced a second generation under the Synfonet banner.
