We maintain all of the necessary accreditation for these tasks.
We are trusted by traditional operators in the North Sea as well as by the EPC (engineering and procurement contractors). MMX is also one of the few UK-based companies offering a combination of Level 3 IRATA capability with deep telecom knowledge and experience. This means that clients no longer need to book installation and rope access teams separately because we can cater to both as a one-stop shop.
Topside communications
In addition to connectivity to the offshore platform, MMX also has a full-service offering in relation to topside communications. This includes the provision and system integration of a range of equipment for the purposes of safety including CCTV, public address and general alarm, meteorological and radar systems as well as LAN/WAN systems and satellite. Such services can be provided to the operator of the platform directly or to the so-called EPC (engineering and procurement contractor) responsible for the construction of the platform.
