MMX is pleased to announce its membership of the European Utilities Telecom Council (EUTC) as an associate member. The MMX partnership with the EUTC demonstrates our leadership within the industry and assures customers that we are up to date with the latest trends.
The EUTC is a trade association representing electric, gas and water utilities and other critical infrastructure providers on their information and technology needs. The group brings together industry leaders across Europe to share knowledge about this rapidly changing field. The EUTC believe that sharing thought leadership ensures efficient, secure, sustainable and affordable smart infrastructure solutions. Some examples of the issues that EUTC advocate on is cybersecurity, radio-spectrum access and fibre optic cable siting and leasing.
Being a EUTC member means that MMX gains access to the latest information on telecoms and technology issues affecting the industries mentioned above. Members also have the ability to collectively give input and influence key policy decisions through high level European forums. With its wealth of experience and research, MMX will become a key contributor during membership meetings.
A key strategic focus for MMX centres around supporting the growth of next generation telecommunications networks for SmartGrids. We see the EUTC as the forum bringing together key individuals from the European Utilities telecoms and IT field to discuss key issues and formulate approaches as the enabler for SmartGrids.
